Estonian National Commission for UNESCO
Estonian National Commission for UNESCO was established by the order of Estonian Government on 17 August 1992 (No. 317-k) in accordance with Article VII of UNESCO's constitution and pursuant to the Charter of National Commissions for UNESCO. According to the order of Estonian Government of 20 July 1999 (No 810-k) Estonian National Commission was reorganized into a foundation.
Estonian National Commission for UNESCO serves as a liaison and coordinative unit between UNESCO and national institutions and organizations, both governmental and non-governmental, as well as private persons connected with UNESCOs work. The secretariat includes Secretary-General Kerli Gutman, Coordinator of Culture Programmes Margit Siim and Coordinator of Education Programmes Hanna-Liis Kaarlõp-Nanì.
The Supervisory Board of the Estonian National Commission for UNESCO was renewed on 18 January 2011 by the order of the Minister of Culture and is as follows:

- Katrin Rein – Ministry of Education and Research
- Marit Suurväli – Ministry of Environment
- Eve Sirp – Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Kalev Uustalu – National Heritage Board
- Kaur Siruli, Ministry of Finance
The Advisory Committee is another important organ in the structure of Estonian National Commission for UNESCO. Its task is to advise the Supervisory Board and the Management Board in the matters concerning the fields of activities of UNESCO and to participate in the implementation of conventions and programmes and in the formulation of Estonian positions. As of 2013 there are 11 members in the Advisory Committee.
